Rivermeadows has a unique history in the Jackson Hole area. In 1973, Don Albrecht bought part of the Harold Young Riverview Ranch. In 1981, they did the first filing of the area consisting of 18 lots averaging in size from approximately one-quarter acre to one acre. There are three filings, the second filing consisting of four condominiums. Most of the 700± acres of the ranch is either in open space or was sold in larger parcels. The former ranch headquarters, approximately 30 acres, is currently being used for an Artist-In-Residence Program.
